Invisalign

Drs. Darren Kerbel, Tony Kim, Isaac Gabay, and Schwartz are Certified Invisalign® Providers

Contemplate Invisalign in order to obtain the nicely aligned teeth you would love to see in the mirror, without uncomfortable metallic braces and brackets. A consultation and examination with Liberty Village Dentists Drs. Kerbel, Kim, Gabay, and Schwartz can determine whether or not Invisalign is suitable for you.

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign comfortably straightens teeth via a series of invisible and removable aligners that are virtually invisible to the naked eye. This allows patients to smile exponentially more often while undergoing the treatment. Invisalign is proven to be effective and is fabricated using 3-D computer imaging technology. Over 70% of the USA and Canada’s orthodontists are certified to treat patients using Invisalign.

Why would I want Invisalign?

These aligners are not only invisible, but they are also removable, enabling patients to eat and drink whatever they please while undergoing their treatment. Further, brushing and flossing teeth is a cinch! Invisalign is more comfortable than traditional braces in terms of not requiring any metal, which can increase the likelihood of mouth abrasions and injuries during treatment. No metal and no wires tend to convert into less time required in dentist chairs with dentists adjusting the braces. Invisalign’s virtual treatment plan even provides patients with a “before and after” of how your aligned teeth will appear upon the treatment’s completion.

How does Invisalign work?

Patients generally wear each set of aligners for about 2 weeks, removing them whenever the need to eat, drink, brush, and floss arises. Week by week your teeth will gradually move towards their final position as patients “upgrade” each aligner with the next phase of the series, Our dental practitioners in Liberty Village’s Portrait Dental will book a follow-up appointment with patients at (roughly) 6-week intervals to assure all parties involved that the treatment is advancing as intended. The treatment takes between 9-15 months and requires an average of 18-30 sets of aligners, but both may depend upon your unique requirements.
